Ok. it's been way too long since my last post. (dec 2008)

I've been procrastinating since forever now. (i wanted to start a fresh blog & post weekly) But... i couldn't think of a name cool enough. :( Posts like... it stuff/tips for normal people, lolz & such.
Suggestions? Or keep current one?

I'm probably still going to eat there.

Ok, so we just built a multi-million dollar shopping complex, with the second floor having a food court with multiple outlets. How can we start making some of the money back?
Well... People like to wash their hands before & after they eat, it's basic hygiene.
So what we do is... we start charging our own customers to wash their hands.

Update: It's now free to wash yer hands. But if you need to pee, make it worth it.

I was wondering why my warcraft character does the things he does... so here's his story.

They said we would be safe there. They said they would protect us.
It’s their fault. They let this happen.

It was the third war. Like the wars before was based on nothing but old hatred & petty greed. I was stationed in the east, fighting for an army I now have nothing but shame & hatred for.But I believed.
I believed then, in fighting for the cause. I believed that as blacksmith, even I could still save lives. Every piece of amour saving a life, every weapon forged preventing a life from being taken. I believed my family was safe.

With so many battles fought against orc & scourge alike I would have never expected my service to end the way it did. Camp had been made & our commander assured us no orc or scourge could ever break our defenses. Exhausted from the day of travel we slept soundly. Without worry, knowing we were being watched over.

Then I felt it, a creeping chill rushing over me. I opened my eyes in time to see his face. His dim lifeless eyes peering back at me as the sword scraped my ribs. The scourge was upon us. I looked to my side, hoping for my brothers in arms to come to my aid. I saw nothing. Not a soul. I was alone. But not for long.

Soon enough I was alive again. But… different. I felt… I felt less. Felt nothing. Fear, cold, warmth, pain… all had become no more emotion to me than colors. I was told the undead were nothing but mindless drones. They were so wrong. I remembered everything. I felt in control. I thought everything I did was of my own choice.

There were others, like me, my brothers in arms fallen in battle & raised to fight. I felt compelled to join with them, fight with them. We moved on, killing orcs & humans all the same. I didn’t matter who.

We headed west towards Lordaeron, slaying everything in our path, leaving nothing alive. Then we came upon a small town, much like the many we had destroyed before. A woman and child ran out, much like the many slaughtered before. They were to die, just like the rest.

The little girl broke from her mother’s arms, running towards me. What she said brought a flood of memories back. Memories long forgotten, now burnt in my mind as though everything in my life had happened only hours ago, feeling every emotion I had ever felt. Then the grim reality hit me. I was never in control. I was not there on my own free will.

Although so many years have passed the young girls cry still echoes in my mind. “Daddy?”

Things are better now. His control over my mind has long been broken. I am among others, like me who have broken from his will. I have found new meaning in life. Vengence.

They let this happen.
They must pay the price for what thay have done.

Today i found out why we have been without power for the last 4 days. First of... yes, there was a hurricane. Trees fell, power lines got ripped from the posts. It happens.
Then...
I'm pretty sure the conversation went like this:

"Bro, i'm tired of being broke. We should get jobs & become a functioning part of society. I'm sure we can find something constructive to do.

You know what.. you're right. I'm going to... wait... did you hear that?

The tree fell on the power lines, lets go cut the lines, strip the copper from them & sell it to the scrapyard!

I [Heart] Buns.

Buns? What are these buns I speak of? Well... there are different definitions of buns.... both are often delicious, but I'm talking about the bread, made from flour type. In particular, tea buns. :)
I have recently discovered the joy of tea buns :)

There is a place, where the mystical buns come from. No, it's not hot bread, those imitation tea buns :P These tea buns come from tea totoka. (spelling?) Location? Hidden away in an ally near the Suva market.

For a mere 30 cent you can purchase one of said buns. Best consumed with with butter & tea. No coffee, no fake butter (margarine). Just butter & tea.

Also, note they come in brown paper bags, as they are steaming hot & in a plastic bag they get all... squishy. FYI, margarine is just one molecule away from being PVC (plastic)... but then again so is sugar.

Ya know when you go on an amusement ride like a ferris wheel, you get that thrill... Sometimes, that can be bad. Depending on what is giving you the thrill, whether isn't the combination of height, speed, g-forces, etc. or just that the ferris wheel looks dodgy & you fear for your life...
Over the weekend i experienced the latter. No, i didn't go on a rusty old ferris wheel, or the surprisingly greasy looking octopus ride. I was in a taxi.

The driver stopped at the bottom of my driveway... didn't come up like they always do. Only in hindsight do i realize why. So i get in the cab, seems like any other old cab, few rattles. Then a few more... some grinding noises, tapping, knocking. By this time i guessed the cab wasn't registered. Couldn't have passed certificate of fitness. But what the hell, what could happen. Maybe it would just conk out & I would have to get another cab.

The driver didn't go too fast, I guess he knew the car wasn't too healthy. But the as we were going down Milverton road, he sped up a little. No biggie, prolly doing about 40. Up in front a guy had stopped to turn into his driveway, as did the car behind him. No problem, far ahead. Plenty time to stop. Nope. No stoping. No slowing down. last minute swerved to the left onto the curb missing the car by like 12 inches. Coasted past like 3 houses, on the footpath & driveways before coming to a stop. Of course during this time i was freaking out.

When we did stop, the driver turned to me & said "Sorry brother, sometimes my brakes fail".

wtf.

Oh well, i was like 50 metres from my destination so we drove on. As i got out of the cab another guy took it. I heard him say "laucala beach". Hehe... he's in for some funn. (yes, with 2 n's for even more fun)
